Abstract

The benefit of organic fertilizers on the soil is determined by the amount of organic matter that is applied and not by the amount of organic fertilizer, its use will be influenced by its chemical characteristics and the objectives for which it is used, that is why The present work was developed to evaluate the changes shown by the physical indicators of a sialytic brown soil before the application of different doses of filter cake (CHZ), bovine manure (EV) and compost (C). Plots of 20 m2 were established where seven treatments were studied under a randomized block experimental design with three replications. The treatments studied were: 1) 16,4t.ha-1 of CHZ; 2) 20 t.ha-1 of CHZ; 3) 14,5 t.ha-1 of EV: 4) 17,4t.ha-1 of EV; 5) 28,2t.ha-1 of C; 6) 34,0 t.ha-1 of C and 7) without application (control). One year after the application, the physical indicators apparent density (g.cm-3), resistance to penetration (kg.cm-3) and infiltration speed (cm.h-1) were evaluated. A marked influence of the doses of organic fertilizers was observed in the improvement of the physical indicators studied. The degree of compaction in the first 20cm was favored by the lower doses of Bovine Manure and Compost, which in turn provide the best results for the degree of compaction of 21-40cm and for the apparent density of 0-20. cm, respectively The dose of 20 t.ha-1 of Cachaza allowed a better infiltration of the water into the soil
